Dear sisters,

We know that you are accompanying us with your prayers  during the course of the work of our General Chapter. We know and we feel it   because we feel the closeness of the Lord, who gives us inspiration, serenity and joy in our meetings and assist us especially with the presence of his Spirit.
As you can see,  at the beginning of this letter there  is a logo or a symbol, surrounded by an inscription: This is the logo which  we have chosen for this
XV11th General Chapter of our congregation.
These words, which  suggest a program of hope and optimism for the future, say:

“Let us build the present looking at the future with the heart of Mother M. Augustine "

a slogan that will accompany us for the next six years. Regarding the image of the logo it is easily readable, but we reserve the right to give  you a more detailed explanation in the Acts of the Chapter that will  follow .  Now we want to give you some information about our work:
As you know on 27 was  the day fixed for  the opening of the Chapter and so far we have dealt with the following themes: our  relationship at the level of  the whole congregation and  of the apostolic relationships in the  reality, including  the new missions .
On the  30th,  a Passionist Father, Father P. Mirra, gave us some points of reflections  about our charism and  on the gift that was  Mother Augustine to the Church, a gift that must continue in us through faith in Christ, and to  our congregation.
On July 2, we went at the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual  Succor belonging to the Redemptorists, in via  Merulana where we visited the tomb of Fr. Lelouchier and  of Fr. Mauron,  after which, we had the celebration of the Eucharist.
On  July 5, Father Alday, Claretian, came to speak to  us  about the importance  to be a human being,  of communication and how to develop the  sense of belonging to the congregation. Now we are already working on the questionnaires. For the rest  we will give more information later on.

Greetings to all and each one of you always  united   in  prayer.

                                                                                Sr M. Andreina e Consiglio
